Pavillion and Life

To compliment the private campsites there is a centrally located pavilion with CLEAN water, a fully equipped communal kitchen, CLEAN showers, CLEAN bathrooms, and a deposito with CHEAP ice-cold local beer and old fashioned bottled Coca-Colas for sale. There is nothing better than a nice hot shower to wash away the sweat after a day of cranking at the cliffs. In the kitchen area there are stoves, pots, pans, cutlery, plates and a refrigerator. It is always fun to cook together with others and experience various local flavours as well as international cuisine. Just outside the pavilion there is a large barbecue area for feasts and gatherings.

In the pavilion everyone gathers to hang out, discuss climbing plans and make friends. There is a rockin' dance floor for when times get crazy. The dance floor is also a great flat open area where you can stretch and practice yoga. The slack line is a favourite among many, and there is a pull-up bar in case you're not already sufficiently pumped. If you feel like reading there are comfy couches and a small library. There are also tables and electrical outlets for those who cannot exist without their laptop computers. The space within the pavilion can also been used for making didjeridoos, painting, meditating, etc. It is your living room while you are here.

At NEW YEARS there is a wild party on the dance floor complete with a spinning disco ball, great music, lots of friends and good times for all. For cold nights or when you feel like strumming a guitar, there are fire pits with firewood supplied. Also, if you choose to come after the big winter holiday rush, the fun doesn't stop! There are dinners, barbecues and parties to be enjoyed for almost any occasion.
